Comment SLUSHY for the link and other fun frozen treats to make at home this spring and summer! ☀️ Seriously, my kids are obsessed with this thing. The best part is that you can literally pour in any liquid you want—juice, soda, or even coffee if you’re feeling it—and just start squeezing. You just give the cup a good squeeze for about two minutes and it transforms the liquid into a DIY slushy right in front of you. It’s way better than a blender because the clean-up is easy, and it’s honestly kind of satisfying to do. 🥤✨ #momhacks #summeractivities #slushy #amazonfinds #parentingwin [DIY slushy maker, squeeze cup slushy, summer snacks for kids, easy frozen treats, kitchen gadgets]
Comment CHEESE for the link! 🧀 I have never clicked “buy” so fast in my life. 🐄 Literally zero regrets. If anyone finds a cute one for string cheese please let me know!!! #fridgeorganization #kitchenhacks #restock #momhacks #amazonfinds
Comment PLAY for more taste-safe and edible play recipes, and save this post for the next time you have leftover icing! 🤩 Follow @7daysofplay for more easy play ideas and mom hacks! If you have a little one who explores everything with their mouth, you know that the “mouth-check” struggle is real! This 2-ingredient recipe is such a game-changer for letting them discover and learn all about play dough. To make it, just mix 1/2 cup of frosting with about 1 cup of cornstarch (add it slowly until it isn't sticky anymore) and knead it into a soft dough. It creates the most pillowy texture, and since it’s completely taste-safe, you can relax and let them dive into some sensory play while they work on those fine motor skills. It’s a great way to lean into that natural curiosity and make toddler activities a lot less stressful for everyone. If you’re looking for a quick DIY playdough that’s baby-safe and easy to whip up, this is definitely one to try, plus I have a bunch more fun recipes I’ll send you if you comment PLAY. ✨ #tastesafe #sensoryplay #toddleractivities #edibleplaydough #diyplaydough [edible playdough recipe, taste safe sensory play, frosting playdough, toddler activity ideas, baby safe play, DIY sensory toys, no cook playdough, sensory exploration for babies, fine motor skills activities]
Comment CAMP for the full list of essentials for both day camp and sleep-away camp! 🏕️ ☀️ Summer camp season is right around the corner, and the secret to a stress-free drop-off is a bag that’s actually organized. I’ve spent way too much time digging through backpacks for a stray bottle of sunscreen, so this year we are leveling up. This hard-shell kit is a total game-changer—it keeps the “must-haves” like bug spray, hand sanitizer, and first aid supplies in one spot so they don’t get crushed or leak all over their clothes. Plus, switching to a lightweight, quick-dry towel and goggles with a fabric strap means less bulk and zero hair tangles! Whether they’re headed to day camp or packing for their first week away, this setup makes it easy for them to find exactly what they need, when they need it. #summercamp #campessentials #momlife #backpackorganization #summerprep [summer camp packing list, kids camp gear, backpack essentials, summer activities for kids, camp organization]
Comment PLAY for the recipe + the link to our folding sensory table (or save this post to find the recipe below)! ⬇️ I set this up in our 7 Days of Play folding sensory table! I actually created and launched this as a mom-owned business because I couldn’t find a table that stored flat—this was the first of its kind, and I’m so proud of it. I hope your family loves it as much as mine does! Taste-Safe Chia Slime Recipe: ✅ 1/4 cup chia seeds ✅ 1/2 cup water (adjust for sliminess!)* ✅ 1/2 cup (or more) cornstarch If your slime feels too sticky, here’s the fix: add more cornstarch. Keep kneading it and it’ll transform into that perfect, stretchy “swamp” texture that doesn’t stick to hands. ✨ The Quick Method: Let the chia seeds soak in the water for just 10 minutes—no need to wait overnight! Once they’re plump, mix in your cornstarch until you reach the consistency you want. Why we love this setup: ✅ Taste-Safe → Stress-free for little ones. ✅ High Sensory Input → Great for tactile exploration. ✅ Calming Play → Perfect for an outdoor “wind-down” activity. Tag me if you try it! ❤️ #sensoryplay #tastesafe #toddleractivities #7daysofplay #sensorytable [chia seed slime recipe, taste safe sensory bin, dinosaur activities for preschoolers, diy edible slime for toddlers, sensory play ideas, folding sensory table, outdoor play for kids, toddler development activities, sensory play for 2 year olds, preschool crafts]
Comment PLAY for the links to the inflatables + more of the best outdoor toys and games! ☀️ I decided to turn the backyard into a full-blown water park, and honestly, I think I’m enjoying it just as much as they are. 😆 From the massive water slides to the splash pools and climbing walls, it’s kept them busy (and cool) for hours. If you’re looking for a way to level up your summer days at home, these inflatable water slides are a total game changer. 🙌 [backyard water park, inflatable water slide, summer activities for kids, outdoor play ideas, inflatable splash park, summer essentials, kids water toys, backyard fun]
Comment SUMMER for more fun activity ideas to try this summer + a list of great animal figurine sets! ☀️🦒 If you need an easy outdoor setup for a sunny day, shadow tracing is the move. It’s such a fun way to get them outside and working on those fine motor skills while you grab a coffee (or join in!). All you need is a roll of paper, some sunshine, and their favorite plastic figurines. It’s amazing to see how the “art” changes as the sun moves! 🖍️✨ Save this for the next sunny day and follow @7daysofplay for more easy play ideas and mom hacks! Comment LIST if you’d like me to send you my pantry organization links + my list of “Better-for-you” candy swaps!✨ Nothing like a broken pipe under the house to force a total pantry gut 😅. Honestly? I’m not even mad because it gave me the excuse I needed to finally do a full reset. I’m all about systems that actually work for a busy family. A few of my favorites from this reset: 1️⃣ The Glass Jar Hack: I swapped pricey, wasteful snack packs for bulk bags portioned into jars. It keeps things fresh and stops the kids from “contaminating” the whole bag. 🥨 2️⃣ The 3-Layer Trick: These stackable drawers let me fit three layers of snacks on a single shelf. Total game changer for small spaces. 3️⃣ The “Better” Candy Shelf: We don’t do restrictions, but I do look for swaps that ditch the artificial dyes and chemicals. 🍭 Don’t forget to comment LIST for the links to everything you see here! 👇 [ Pantry Organization, Kitchen Hacks, Home Systems, Clean Eating Swaps, Mom Hacks, Snack Prep, Organizing Tips, Better-For-You Snacks, Restock, Home Improvement ]
Comment SQUISH for the link and more food-themed squishies that your kids can peel, stretch, and squish! (There are some REALLY cool ones!) 🍔✨ This “Forbidden Burger” is a total sensory trip. The way the layers actually pull apart is so wild. I can’t tell if the peeling part is satisfying or just totally gross... what do you think? [Sensory play, fidget toy, peeling squishy, toy food, kids activities, mess-free play]
