“Bringing my visual language as a tattoo artist into a completely different structure takes creativity. What you see in the design of this Ford Mustang is almost like there’s a fresco hidden underneath the car – layers of culture, history and influence all colliding together into one moving sculpture. I started by taking photographs of the car and sketching over them so I could figure out how the artwork would flow with the shape of the vehicle. And I was even able to tattoo the leather seats.” —Eden Karo, Artist @kozo_tattoo
“This project took 552 hours. Before I started, I knew I had to choose the perfect vehicle for my vision. The Ford Mustang was always the car I wanted to work with because it’s personal. My father loves them, and I have fond memories of riding in his as a kid. Plus, the Mustang is a symbol of Americana to me. It’s an homage to my life in the United States and the culture that inspired me when I left home and moved to New York.” —Eden Karo, Artist @kozo_tattoo
“In my eyes, the Ford Mustang GTD® is the ultimate Mustang. “I’ve never driven a vehicle that packs so much power but also handles so well, it feels like being behind the wheel of a race car.” —Greg Lapoint, 2025 GTD owner
“Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to drive a Ford Mustang®. The inspiration was simple: I always thought they were cool cars. “Thirty years ago, I got my first Mustang, a ’70 Mach 1. That made me fall in love with the brand, and I now have eight in my collection. “My newest addition is the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD. To me, it’s a once-in-a-decade supercar that is the pinnacle of Mustang design and performance.” —Greg Lapoint, 2025 GTD owner
Greg Lapoint is no stranger to pushing his cars to the limit, and ever since the Ford Mustang® GTD was released, he’s had his eyes set on this track-bred machine. “I love going to track events – road races, drag races…stuff like that. I used to have a 1999 Ford Mustang that I clocked a record-breaking 7.90-second quarter-mile time with on the track. Now it’s time to see what the GTD is capable of.” —Greg Lapoint, 2025 GTD owner
Nothing extra. Just speed. The Ford Mustang® notchback made a name for itself thanks to its sharp, traditional coupe profile. This design brought a cleaner, more classic silhouette to the Fox Body lineup – favored for its simplicity, weight advantage and straight-line performance potential.
Choose your driver. When the hatchback body style was introduced in 1974, a new debate was sparked: hatchback vs. notchback. The hatchback became loved for its versatility and performance-focused design. While the notchback stayed true with its classic, timeless touch. While there are no wrong answers, there are definitely strong opinions… What body style is the best? Let us know in the comments.
The introduction of an icon. In 1974, the Ford Mustang® hatchback entered the scene with a rear door design that swung up for easy cargo access. This fastback aesthetic and liftgate layout gave Mustang a unique balance of practicality and performance potential, making it one of the most versatile models of its time.
“You know, one day you just say ‘I’m going to get myself a Mustang. And the ’64 1/2 is special. The generator instead of the alternator, the engine – it’s truly old school and just has a lot of charm.” —Terry Perry
“We got it in 2016, so our kids didn’t get to ride around with us in it. But we’ve done a few trips with our grandkids and that’s been really special. One of them wants to take it to prom. “We also own a 1968 Mustang and a 2006 with the manual transmission. We want them to learn how to drive stick.”
Timeless touch. Terry Perry is the proud owner of a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang® in the original Guardsman Blue. A favorite for collectors, the 1964 1/2 is the first Mustang model that was ever produced and the only model to feature the 260 V8 engine.
