The story behind those chaotic podium celebrations in Qatar with James 🍾😅
Race day in Qatar 🇶🇦 How it started vs how it ended 🤦👉
Exceptional. Really fantastic performance from Carlos and the team when it counted; every detail adds up, from strategy to pitstops to tyres and setup - all perfect today. Getting on the podium by a handful of milliseconds really is such a just reward for the incredible work the whole team is putting in this year. I was proud of Carlos and the team when we got our first podium in Baku; the second is a dream come true, but perhaps more importantly at a track that was almost our worst last year. And we’ve come back, we’ve reinvented ourselves and the result is there for everyone to see. For Alex, we will come back fighting in Abu Dhabi. We haven’t got it all together this weekend, but I’ll reiterate that his performance across the season is why we’ve secured fifth in the Constructors’ championship today. And more so than that, his pace is there, we just need to bring it all together. Finally, fifth would have been a dream come true just 12 months ago when we were languishing in ninth in the Constructors’ Championship. Thank you everyone - your support has been incredible.
The team that just secured P5 in the Constructors’ Championship 💙

Metal meets motorsport. It was fantastic to welcome @metallica into our garage and show them how we operate across a race weekend. Metallica are one of the very best in the business and this was definitely one of the highlights of the season 🎸🥁
Another well-earned World Championship point in Qatar. Yesterday’s qualifying session was crucial to set us up for today. A job well done all round. Full focus turns to main qualifying up next 👊
A strong Sprint qualifying performance from Carlos and Alex saw both cars through to SQ3 this evening, lining up in P8 and P10 for the Sprint race. We took a different setup direction this event, which is paying dividends. We can be proud of our efforts today. All to play for tomorrow 💪
Lusail, Qatar 📍🇶🇦 Part two of the triple header and a Sprint race weekend. It will be tricky in Qatar but we have positive momentum, and some interesting setup directions to test this weekend. Full focus on the job ahead 💪
After completing a couple of successful GT3 test days over the past few months, I am delighted to announce I will be returning to competitive racing this December with the @Garage_59 team, for the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi in GT3. It’s a strong line up, looking forward to getting back behind the wheel 💪
After two years with us in the Williams Racing Driver Academy, we can share that Lia will be moving on at the end of 2025 as she heads back to rally. It’s been a privilege to support her development during this period, and I’m incredibly proud of the progress she has made. I wish her every success as she steps into the next chapter of her career 💙
Well done to Carlos, P5 was where the car was yesterday pace-wise and he got everything out of it. Clean execution and great to see the gap that we were able to pull to the rest of the midfield. Ten well earned points. With Alex, a very difficult race for him. The radio failed on the laps to the grid and despite numerous efforts we were not able to reinstate it which meant we had no communication with him. After he got caught up in incidents, we decided the best course of action was to retire the car rather than risk any safety issues. We have got two races to go, a slight build in the points gap for fifth in the Championship. Let’s not lose focus now.
