mapo tofu my favourite all time😮‍💨 here’s how you can make it: - simmer soft tofu for a min to firm it up - toast and grind some sichuan peppercorn - brown some mince beef - add in spicy chilis, minced ginger, garlic, green onion - add in doubanjiang - fry for a bit - deglaze with chinese cooking wine and stock of your choice (or water) - season with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, peppercorn oil, a bit of Chinese black vinegar - thicken with cornstarch slurry - add in tofu - gentttlyyyy mix it in for a bit - top with chili oil - enjoy :)

sesame balls 😮‍💨 cant lie i like red bean filling more i messed up the chocolate - here’s how you can make: - combine 200g glutinous rice flour, 25 g sugar, pinch of salt - slowly pour in 150g boiling water while mixing - knead around until its a smooth dough - roll it into a log, and cut them into ~30g balls - flatten the ball and place your choice of filling inside - popular fillings are red bean paste, black sesame paste, i tried using a chocolate ganache situation but i definitely overcooked it - next time i’ll freeze the balls so they stay cooler while the outside cooks - Coat the outside of the balls with raw sesame seeds soaked in water - fry at a low heat (270f) until the outside is set - then crank the heat to 350f and fry until golden brown - be careful because they can explode lol #uwansum #foodasmr

hope you are doing well :) chinese pork daikon soup - one of my fav soups of all time Heres how you can make it: - boil some pork spare ribs from cold - skim the scum, rinse off any impurities - bring the ribs to a low boil again for about 20 minutes along with salt and shaoxing cooking wine - throw in aromatics - i used green onion, ginger, bay leaf, star anise - cook some daikon alongside - i also put carrots and shiitake mushrooms - cook until your veggies are soft and the meat hella tender - strain out the broth, put the veggies and meat back in - boom, best soup ever
