Poster for @deafheavenband (이 캡션을 쓰는 것 만으로도 행복한거 아시나요) The version with the large Doberman head actually came from an early draft I made last spring. At the time, only Magnolia had been released, so all I knew was that there would be a song called Doberman. I tried designing based on that, but it felt off, so I scrapped it. Later, after finally hearing what Doberman actually sounded like and seeing their live performances, I realized the problem had been working on the iPad! So I bought a sketchbook and some charcoal sticks for the first time in years and had a blast creating this. @hellahammer 🫡 도베르만 머리를 크게 배치하는 방향은 사실 지난 봄에 있었던 투어 때 이미 작업했던 시안. 근데 아직 Magnolia 빼고는 발매 전이라 노래 제목만 알고 있을 때였어서 뭔가 마음에 들지 않아 스케치 단계에서 폐기 했었음. 나중에 음반이 발매되고, 라이브 공연을 또 많이..^^ 보고 나니 아이패드로만 작업하려한게 문제라는걸 깨달았음. 그래서 스케치북이랑 목탄을 사다가 매우 즐겁게 작업했습니다.

Listening to the second album always feels like new blood vessels are growing all over my body, but this new album goes beyond that—Instead of blood vessels, it feels like vines are sprouting and wrapping around me. 데프헤븐의 2025 북미투어 일정중 5월 3일 공연을 위한 포스터를 디자인했습니다. 살다보니 이런 날도 오네요.. 첫번째로 공개되었던 싱글 Magnolia에 대한 포스터로 된 감상문입니다. 이거 작업하면서 100번쯤 들었어요.(과장아님) 데프헤븐을 들을 때면 곡 하나하나가 살아있는 생명체 같다는 생각이 듭니다. 난폭하면서도 아름다운, 그들이 가진 에너지를 조금이라도 담아내려고 노력했습니다. 박미라 작가의 개인전 《문을 만드는 일 To Make a Door》 포스터를 디자인했습니다. 전시에 사용된 사물들이 서로 겹치며 통로를 만들고 그 사이로 전시 제목이 등장하도록 배치했습니다. 🕳️ 사물 위에 애니메이션이 투사되는 작품들과 연결성을 주기 위해 실물 포스터는 반사되는 메탈지를 사용했습니다. 전시는 11/23까지 이어집니다. @flaneur_mira @the_reference_seoul I designed the poster for Mira Park’s solo exhibition To Make a Door. Objects from the artist’s works overlap to form a passage, within which the exhibition title emerges. To echo the projected animations in the artworks, the physical poster was printed on reflective metallic paper. The exhibition runs until November 23.
