Wake up snacks are my secret to slower mornings! They can grab something to eat while I wake up, no one starts the day hungry, and everything feels a little calmer. Nature’s candy 🍭 My kids request fruit salad pretty much daily. It’s so great to have as a snack or to go with meals! My favorite fruits to add are: strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries, and grapes. Tips for keeping fruit salad good for days: 1. Choose the right fruit. The ones I wrote above are the best ⬆️. Other fruit like banana will brown fast. 2. Wash and dry completely. Moisture is a big reason the fruit goes bad. 3. Add 1-2 tsp lemon juice and mix. 4. Store in an airtight container. 5. Let me know if you’ve made it. How to make: 4 bananas Mini chocolate chips -slice the bananas into coins and freeze for at least 2 hours. -put the bananas in a food processor and blend until smooth. Toddler + me breakfast so you don’t have to cook twice! This cheesy egg breakfast quesadilla is quick, filling, and something we both actually eat 🙌 How to make it: Mix 2 eggs in a bowl. Heat a small pan on the stove and spray with cooking spray. Add the eggs and let them spread to cover the pan. Sprinkle with cheese and cook until fully set. Place a cooked tortilla on top of the eggs and flip. Add more cheese, fold in half, and cook until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted.
