2025 has been jam packed with bikes, big squeezes, champagne showers, marshal selfies, record chasing and Aperols the size of your head — a sign of a bloody good year. Cheers to everyone for a cracker. Same again next year? 🍹 @Santacruzbicycles @ridefoxbike @rideshimano @maxxistires @foxmtb @burgtec @oneupcomponents @stifmountainbikes @reservewheels @peatysproducts @chriskingbuzz
10 Things I Loved in 2025: The Santa Cruz Tallboy - Dario DiGiulio | @pinkbike “We just wrapped up our Field Test, pitting a large crop of this year’s best trail bikes against each other. That test confirmed something for me, and that’s just how much I love my Tallboy... I travelled with this bike quite a bit this year, and have built it to work well just about anywhere - strong brakes, a long dropper post, light wheels, and tires to suit the destination. From trails at home where an enduro bike absolutely makes more sense to long adventure rides abroad, the Tallboy has been a very good friend. I’ve already done a Staff Ride on this bike, but soon enough it’ll be due for a three-year update.” Cheers Dario. Looking forward to that 3 year update 👊 Head to the Pinkbike link in bio 👆for @danger_dario’s full ‘10 Things’ list. 🚲 #santacruztallboy

After four insanely fun years, it’s time to say goodbye to Lozza. Goodbyes are never easy — and this one’s especially tough, mainly because he’s an actual legend. From day one in 2022, he slotted straight in: rapid on track and somehow even better in the pits. World Cup podiums, a World Championship bronze medal, clutch runs when it really mattered… but just as many moments off the bike we’ll never forget. Calm, no-nonsense race mornings. Dry one-liners dropped at exactly the right moment. Keeping things light while everyone else overthought it. Add freestyle rapping, the uncontrollable ostrich face, and generally being a tonic for the whole team - Loz brought it all. A few classic moments, courtesy of his right-hand man, Husky: “Hardline vibes were always good. Tassie was spicier than Wales, Loz was terrified of spiders and snakes and ended up sleeping in the main house with Uncle Steve and me. He also “taught” us how to surf on an early team camp in Portugal, sending us straight into 6ft sets and getting absolutely pummelled — brutal, but weirdly addictive. That third place at Worlds in Fort William was special. Even after time off the bike, he was hauling all week and could’ve easily won it if not for a tiny pedal clip before the Hazard Hoofer. On Road Rules, he forgot his riding shoes — again — and did the Canberra “World Champs repeat” in slip-on Vans. Still smoked everyone bar Jackson and barely blinked. Forgetting shoes became a theme, but teammates were the same size, and he never stressed. Then there’s his unreal ability to lose absolutely anything, but like a boomerang, it always comes back. All in all, a fun-loving, easy-going bloke. Pretty horizontal at times. Incredibly infuriating on occasion. Always a lovable dude and a great mate.” — The Fort William podium at home, big rides under pressure, endless laughs, and the addition of Granny Liz (the team mascot we didn’t know we needed) are just the tip of the Greenland iceberg. Four years of racing, we’re properly grateful for. Thanks for everything, Laurie. Once a Syndicate rider, always a Syndicate rider 🖤 | @svenmartinphoto

10 Things I Loved in 2025: The Santa Cruz Bronson - Mike Kazimer | @pinkbike “I added a Bronson to my personal fleet at the tail end of last season after being impressed by it at the Whistler Field Test. I wanted a bike that could handle just about anything, but wouldn’t be a pig on the climbs (I’m not interested in competing with @danger_dario for the title of “World’s Heaviest Pedal Bike”). The Bronson fit the bill, and in the months since it’s served as the test sled for all sorts of parts... I’m not going to get rid of this bike any time soon, so look for a more in-depth bike check to see what it looks like after another winter of tinkering.” Thanks Kaz 🙌 Head to the Pinkbike link in bio 👆for @mikekazimer’s full ‘10 Things’ list. 🚲 #santacruzbronson

The htSQD | 2021 - 2025 | Mud, Metal, and Medals • Goodbye htSQD. We’re sad to see you go, but you’ve left a lasting impression. When we formed the htSQD back in 2021, we set out to build an elite team of individuals who, similar to the Syndicate, were champagne-hunting, good-time-having people with character. Racers who were champions on and off the bike. To be honest, we weren’t really sure what we were in for when this started, but the results came in as fast, and as furious, as the tracks that were pumping through the sprinter van’s sound system as they rolled around the country. Keegan Swenson @keegels99 quickly established himself as the man to beat at every race. He has gone on to become the most decorated gravel/endurance rider in the business, winning the Lifetime Grand Prix series 3 times from 2022 - 2025, breaking records (twice) at Leadville 100, and capping it off with a 2025 UCI World Championship title this year in Champery. Alexis Skarda @alexisskarda is a contender at every race, she landed top 5 each year in the Lifetime Grand Prix from 2022 - 2025, won Marathon National Championship titles in 2021, 2023, and 2024, won the Breck Epic in 2021, the Swiss Epic in 2025, and came 2nd at the Cape Epic in 2025. And no matter the race or result, you’d always find her on the turntables at the afterparty. Tobin Ortenblad @mctubbbin AKA “The People’s Champ.” He’s the closest the htSQD has to a domestique, from setting the pace for many races, including Keegan’s course-crushing Leadville 100 record, to his own accomplishments in cyclocross, XC, gravel, and road. He’s also the 2023 SSCX World Champion, beating Keegan to a rainbow jersey (tattoo?) by 1.5 years. Ruth Holcomb @woofholcomb was the newest and youngest member of htSQD in 2025, and Ruth immediately made her own mark by dominating her U23 races this season, including a 1st in Leadville, and taking the Lifetime Grand Prix U23 overall championship. Every race has to have a finish line, this is it for the htSQD. As the team van rolls off into the sunset one last time, we’re stoked to have been on the journey with these amazing humans for 5 years. See y’all on down the trail🖤
“I’m not going to win the race for Jackson, but if I make a mistake, I could lose it.” When athletes like @jacksongoldstone are putting in the hours on the track, mechanics, team managers, and our very own @cordijortes are putting in the time to make sure every detail is done correctly so everything feels right between the poles. When you’re comfortable, you go fast. When you go fast, you win races.. Checks out. ✔️ The Search for Milliseconds drops tomorrow on Red Bull TV. Stay tuned. 📺 #RideFox #Fox #TheSearchForMilliseconds #SmellsFast
