Ok here it is! The once in a lifetime chocolate pie! I’ll make a full write up on BB in a couple weeks, but here’s the recipe: CRUST 26 ground Oreos 6 tbsp salted butter, melted Mix, press into pie dish, and chill FILLING 2 tbsp salted butter 1 7oz jar marshmallow fluff, divided 7oz 70% cocoa dark chocolate, chopped (reserve 1 square for serving) 6oz milk chocolate, chopped 3 cups heavy cream, divided Add the butter, half the jar of fluff, and chopped chocolate to a large bowl. Heat 2 cups heavy cream over medium heat until steaming, then pour over the chocolate. Sit for a couple minutes, then whisk until smooth. Strain into pie shell and chill at least 6 hours or overnight. To make whipped cream, whip remaining 1 cup heavy cream until slightly thickened, then scoop in remaining marshmallow fluff and whip until fluffy. Dollop on each slice and shave the chocolate square on top. The pie can be served chilled or at room temp. Enjoy!!

Nearly burnt down the house from broiling the sweet potato marshmallows a little too long 🙃 but otherwise our first Thanksgiving back home was a success!! Including the chocolate cream pie. My nephew claimed it was a “pie of a lifetime” so I’d say it’s a winner already (I’ll share the recipe as soon as I can but first, cookie boxes!) It was so nice to spend the day with my family after missing almost 7 Thanksgivings together, and it’s especially sweeter now with baby butternut. The holidays feel like the holidays again ❤️

This homemade candied nuts recipe is SO easy and it’s the perfect treat for holiday gifting! Here’s everything you’ll need to make this sweet and savory nut mix: - 2 1/2 cups pecan halves - 2 1/2 dry roasted unsalted cashews - 1 cup dry roasted unsalted almonds - 2 large egg whites - 2 tbsp water - 2 tsp vanilla extract - 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar - 1 cup (200g) light brown sugar, packed - 2 tbsp ground cinnamon - 1/4 tsp fresh grated nutmeg, or ground nutmeg - 2 tsp kosher salt Once your nut mixture is combined and spread evenly on a baking sheet, bake at 300F for 15 minutes, toss, then bake for another 15 minutes. These pumpkin bars made are extra special thanks to one secret ingredient - burnt sugar! Sugar is simply melted down until it’s almost burnt, then it’s mixed with water to create burnt sugar syrup.
