Whole Veggie doenjang jjigae • For a while, my focus has been creating easy Korean recipes for one portion, but I’m now also trying to figure out how to use up all my groceries as I cook for a one person household. So I hope you love this batch of comfort soup for the entire week because so far I’ve been loving it anytime I want to heat up a quick DELICIOUS meal :)
Napa-bap • here’s the sauce ratio! Follow to see more Napa recipes coming soon ☺️ Sauce: 1 Tbsp soysauce 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp white vinegar 1 Tbsp sesame seeds Black pepper 3 Tbsp water sprinkle of MSG is optional!
I see why you told me to come here :) ⛰️Alishan, Taiwan Some of this footage is so near and dear to my heart, it’s almost hard to share it but I’d like to send the heartfelt recommendation forward :) I hope you get inspired to visit Alishan as much as I was, and stay a night or two to take your time here. #Alishan #Taiwan
how to roll #kimbap :) kimbap is Korean Soul food. It starts out being our childhood picnic food, then somewhere along the way it’s a cheap and quick meal, often the symbol of a struggle meal for adults. But I’ve always loved it so much. Once I started making it, it was always a mystery to me why it’s so cheap in Korea when it’s actually not so easy to make, and could take a lot of prep to cook the individual fillings. Over the years I sweeped the Korean YouTube to learn all the tips and tricks to making a good, tightly rolled kimbap, and now I’m putting it together in a tutorial video. before I finalize it, let me know if you have any questions I can troubleshoot for you! #koreanfood #howtomakekimbap #gimbap
Follow @nextpgtravel my new travel account ☺️ TAIPEI NIGHT MARKET 🇹🇼🎏❤️🥢 have you guys tried stinky tofu?! 📍Raohe Night Market, Taipei Thank you for coming out!! So far I’ve been to two night markets and I think I like Raohe much better ☺️ other than the fact that their mountain apple portions are much bigger for cheaper, the food quality here is pretty impressive :) #taipei #raohenightmarket #taiwan
☺️should I go to Singapore..? let me know your recs…!
🍅🌱sweet tomato basil sparkling ade What a wonderful treat I had on my last visit to Seoul. It was a creative and refreshing twist on such familiar flavors, that made an entirely new experience. I fell in love and couldn’t help but recreate it at home, which turned out to be quite easy. This jar didn’t last a week, and I’ll be making a bigger batch asap! [tomato basil ade] cherry tomatoes handful of basil (if you like basil, put in lots. I used 10 leaves) sugar or allulose: half the weight of tomatoes. (I did a 1:1 ratio of sugar & allulose) 1. wash and score each cherry tomato so it has a + shape at the top 2. Pour boiling water over tomatoes until completely submerged, let it sit for 5 minutes 3. Peel the tomatoes, set aside 4. Wash and dry the basil leaves, and cut into 1/2 inch pieces 5. In a bowl, mix sugar and peeled cherry tomatoes. Then mix in the basil 6. transfer to a clean glass jar or container with an airtight lid, and leave in room temperature overnight. 7. Store refrigerated. Enjoy as a drink with 2-3 Tbsp of tomato basil cheong (syrup), ice, and a tall glass of sparkling water #tomatobasilade #토마토바질에이드 #koreancafe #koreandrinks #koreanfood
follow @nextpgtravel to see all my travel content compiled over the years! This was low key the highlight of my trip 😆 What do you call this character?? I grew up watching sinjjang translated to Korean and we called this boy with a permanent sniffle maeng gu LOL #taiwan #taipei #easycard #blindbag @taipeitravel
🤭I need some hypothetical input, just in case a cookbook comes to life in a few years #kimbap
my Barcelona notebook, 2026 instagram warned me a bunch of times that this video is too long, and that they won’t be showing it to a lot of people. it kept making me go back to cut it down & asking am I sure I want to post this as is? welp. all the better, I hope it only reaches the people who were meant to stay :) if that was you, thank you 🫂 and please ‘repost’ or share to send it forward! special thanks to @sarahh_miri who recommended @dospebrots, an unforgettable experience ❤️
not an ad, but happy AAPI Month! This month I’m sharing AAPI owned brands that I personally LOVE, and @dirty_labs was obviously my first choice! you know I’ve been raving about this for months! pls lmk if you have your favorite AAPI owned brands you swear by! [[they gave us a code! Use MADDY10, comment LINK]] I’ve never been so loyal to a dishwasher detergent brand because I’ve flown through so many, and after one too many slimy residue and white streaks later, I’m totally sold on the Dirty Lab detergent that leaves everything sparkly clean, every time. My personal hope is that @dirty_labs will be so successful that they’ll outperform Big Detergent out there that are bad for the environment and our bodies. So here’s a small drop in the bucket from my end💛 and I hope you also enjoy the spark of joy with every scoop, knowing your dishes will be reliably, sparkly clean.
