Save this STICKY SESAME TOFU (better than take-out) recipe and follow @healthygirlkitchen 🥡🫶🏼 Sticky sesame tofu: 1 tbsp avocado oil 1 block high protein tofu 3 tbsp arrowroot or corn starch Sticky sauce: 3 tbsp coconut aminos 2 tsp toasted sesame oil 2 tsp honey 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp garlic 1 tsp ginger (Whisk together/blend with frother while tofu cooks) Garnish: Scallions Toasted sesame seeds 1. Cut tofu into bite-size pieces 2. Toss tofu with starch in a bag or bowl and coat evenly. 3. Saute tofu in avocado oil in non stick pan on medium high heat until golden brown. Flip and mix every few minutes. 4. While tofu cooks make the sauce! 5. Once golden, turn down the heat to low-medium and add the sauce. Let it simmer and stir every 30 seconds until thick and congealed. 6. Turn off the heat and sprinkle on sesame seeds and scallions. 7. ENJOYYYY :) #healthy #dinner #tofu #healthyrecipes

HERB & OLIVE OIL garlicky cubes 🌱🧈🧄🧊#BraggPartner Follow @healthygirlkitchen for more! What you need: Ice cube trays Organic unrefined cold-pressed olive oil (I love @bragg) 16 oz bottle Herbs of choice: rosemary, dill, chives, parsley 1-2 cups total of herbs Minced garlic (10-15 cloves) Minced shallot 1. Chop all herbs 2. Mince garlic and shallot 3. Combine in a jar with olive oil then pour into trays. 4. Add more olive oil to the trays to fill them up completely. 5. Freeze overnight and use for all of your cooking! Uses: Add to a pot of rice for added flavor Add to a pot of quinoa for added flavor Stir into pasta when its done cooking Use on protein in the pan Melt onto baked potatoes or use in a pan while roasting potatoes #cooking #healthyrecipes #oliveoil #wellness

We met in a thunderstorm. We were both shopping at Sprouts when all of the sudden, it started raining so hard you could barely see the parking lot. The parking lot began to flood and the sprouts employees advised us not to leave an to wait it out as long as possible. We stood there watching the rain and dreading leaving the store. I was on my phone looking at the weather forecast when Anne approached me and asked if I was looking at the weather. I told her it was supposed to rain for the next hour. I joked that we could sleepover at sprouts and I’ll cook everyone dinner, she said she’d be my sous chef! All jokes aside, we had to get to our cars. It had been nearly 30 minutes of waiting. Anne and I came up with a plan. I’d leave my groceries and purse with her. She’d give me her umbrella, I’d run to my car with it and back my car up to the stores entrance. Braving the rain, I did just that. The kind man working at sprouts loaded my groceries into my car and then helped Anne into my passenger seat. I drove her to her car and pulled up close so she could get in. We exchanged numbers and promised to get together. About 10 minutes later we called each other at the same time to ensure one another got home safely. A few weeks later we met for a girls lunch, talking for hours and hanging out all afternoon. We shared stories, laughs and we learned about one another’s lives. Anne is one of the sweetest, wittiest, strongest, kindest women I’ve ever met. She doesn’t have family living nearby and I didn’t grow up with grandparents. I love being in her warm presence. She’s been through a lot but her positive mindset is so inspiring. Since then, my parents have met her, she’s come over for dinner and I’m so thankful to have met her. Wanted to share our feel good story to hopefully bring a smile to your face. You never know where you’ll make a friend 🩷🫶🏼

there’s something fishy here…😉🍣🐟 Comment “OSHI” and I’ll send you the link to try @oshiseafood plant-based salmon!! #oshipartner My sesame crusted salmon recipe: - 2 salmon filets (I use @oshiseafood) - Black + white toasted sesame seeds - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp coconut aminos - 1 tsp maple syrup or honey - 1 tsp toasted sesame oil How to: 1. Heat 1 tbsp of avocado oil in a non-stick pan. (Medium high) 2. Dip one side of the salmon in the sesame seeds and place it seed side down in the pan! It should sizzle, keep the pan closer to medium so it doesn’t burn! Cook for 3 minutes on this side then flip and cook for another 5 minutes. 3. Mix the soy sauce sauce, coconut aminos, sweetener and sesame oil and then pour over the filets and allow the fish to simmer in it for 2-3 more minutes. The noodles: 1. Boil water and make 12 oz pad thai style rice noodles. 2. Saute veggies like zucchini, purple cabbage, scallions, carrot ribbons, bok choy and whatever else you like. Saute in a little oil. 3. Combine cooked + strained noodles and veggies and secret sauce in a pan and mix and combine for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens. 4. Serve with the salmon or any protein ya like! Garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds. 5. Enjoy!! My secret sauce: - 1/4 cup coconut aminos - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil - 2 tsp sriracha - 2 tbsp rice vinegar - 1 tsp tamarind paste - 1 tsp maple syrup - 1 tsp grated ginger - 1 tsp grated garlic - Juice of 1 lime - 1 tbsp runny PB (optional) #healthy #salmon #easyrecipe #noodles
