Day 10/30 - the RESET ⬇️ Reminder - the reset is 6 steps: 1. Morning sunlight + walk 2. Lymphatic drainage 3. Wholefood > UPF 4. Movement (doesn’t have to be morning!) 5. Mindful moment 6. Right now the reset is GOING STRONG - I chose the “all in” because it’s still achievable even with a chaotic life - and that’s the whole point! It may start as a reset - but it becomes your routine - THATS what happens after 30 days. The ‘reset’ is a great way to get back on track after periods of time where you’ve neglected yourself OR life gets in the way e.g. Christmas! If you’re bloated, puffy or inflamed ALL the time… it’s probably not one big thing 👀 but usually a few sneaky habits that add up, follow me on @sophie.richards for daily wellness hacks that completely changed the game for me!! here are the habits keeping you STUCK: 1. Skipping meals or under-eating This sends stress hormones through the roof and wrecks blood sugar. Your body stays in survival mode = inflammation stays high. 2. Living on caffeine instead of food Coffee on an empty stomach might feel productive but your hormones HATE it. Hello bloating, crashes and anxiety. 3. Ignoring gut health If your digestion is off, everything feels off. Bloating, fatigue, skin flare-ups… it’s all connected. 4. Poor sleep (even if you “cope”) Sleep is when your body repairs. Miss it regularly and inflammation quietly builds up. 5. Chronic stress Not just physical stress. Emotional stress, rushing, people-pleasing, never switching off. Stress is just as inflammatory as food. 6. Not moving your body enough Movement helps lymphatic flow and hormone balance. You don’t need intense workouts, just consistency. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a life without endometriosis, painful periods, and constant inflammation. For over 10 years, this was my daily reality. Multiple surgeries. Endless attempts to manage symptoms. I truly believed this was just “my life” and something I would have to accept. A few years ago, I decided enough was enough. I quit my job and retrained as a women’s health practitioner to see if there was more I could do. At first, I was sceptical of lifestyle approaches. I honestly rolled my eyes. If surgery could not fix me, how could changing my daily habits possibly help? I was very wrong. And I was very grateful to be wrong. Everything changed when I began to understand inflammation, hormone regulation, and blood sugar balance through the six pillars: food, gut health, detoxification, sleep, stress, and movement. Day 6/30 RESET UPDATE ⬇️ I can’t believe we’re almost 1 week into the reset?! It’s fair to say the post Christmas YUCK feeling is gone - and I’m starting to feel like myself again! More energy, skin is skinning and digestion is 10/10 In terms of the 6 steps: 1. Morning walk in the sun - half ticked! It was too icy to walk so I shuffled and stood in the sun! 2. Lymphatic drainage - did this on my vibration plate (I love it but it’s not essential - if you want the link to mine comment “VIB” and I’ll send the link! 3. Wholefood > UPF! Pain, bloating, mood swings, feeling disconnected from my body… all of it felt normalised!! What actually changed things wasn’t one pill, one supplement or one rule. It was understanding how my body works and then building habits I could actually stick to… If you’re in that phase of feeling like your body is working against you, I promise you’re not broken.
