I've been wanting to get her on the podcast asap so we made that happen! She was so open and honest about some really tricky and sensitive topics like endo and egg freezing. My 6 step SICK day routine that’s getting me through the winter!! AD Honestly, this time of year we are ALL getting sick - but there are ways to recover as quickly as possible by supporting your body… not fighting against it✨ And this is how I get better FAST. 1. My famous golden spiced latte - SO many anti inflammatory properties and is just what you need when dealing with the sniffles 🤧 2. High protein breakie with fats AND fibre! Your body need support now more than ever - fuel it right!! 3. Stay on top of supplements! For me - Creaglow is a NON negotiable and it’s got everything to support proper hydration- just comment “GLOW” and I’ll send you the link 🌟 4. Gentle movement > exercise! I can’t stress this point enough… allow yourself to REST 5. Just cancel your plans, I know, it’s inconvenient but if you want a speedy recovery, you have to take the day off! 6. I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 21, after years of painful periods, bloating and chronic inflammation🥲 Over time, I learned how much the small, daily choices I make with food can influence my symptoms and how I feel - EVEN on holiday!! These are the foods I rely on every single trip to keep inflammation as low as possible: Ginger - supports digestion and helps ease gut inflammation. Turmeric - provides curcumin, one of the strongest natural anti inflammatory compounds. Eating 90% whole foods - keeps my body stable and reduces inflammatory triggers. Greens before everything - loads me with fibre and micronutrients before heavier meals. Dates over sweets - gives me natural energy without the crash. Decaf coffee - supports my routine without the cortisol spikes. Lime and soda water > alcohol - protects my gut and hormones. Peppermint tea - helps settle bloating and supports digestion.
