Meet SMART STRAINS® - a revolutionary, clinically proven range of live bacteria supplements formulated by @theguthealthdoctor with an award-winning PhD in probiotics and backed by international health bodies. Which glass can you relate to most? 🎈 As a gut specialist dietitian and gut health scientist, I know how stressful burdensome bloating can be. But I also know that seeing a specialist isn’t accessible for most (don’t get me started on the 12-month NHS waiting lists for dietitians in the UK), which is what drove me to create a comprehensive on-demand Bloating Masterclass. And it’s available from today! Broken down into 18 digestible lessons that you can watch in your own time, at your own pace wherever you live in the world, this on-demand masterclass is designed to fit into your life. You’ll have access to over 20 additional resources, including expert videos, blogs and step-by-step protocols - essentially everything you need to develop and implement your own Debloat Action Plan to feel more confident, comfortable and in control of your bloating. Plus, you’ll have exclusive access to live monthly Q&As with one of the gut specialist dietitians from The Gut Health Clinic. Comment BLOATING MASTER, and I’ll DM you the link to find out more🎈 #theguthealthdoctor #guthealth #gutdoctor #gut #bloating #bloat

Introducing Adeline Justine 🌈 Some of you will know that the road to baby number three hasn’t been straightforward. There’s been real heartbreak and a lot of anxiety along the way as we tried to grow our family. If you’re walking a similar path, I’m sending you so much love. But she is here. And we couldn’t be more grateful for our beautiful baby, Addy. Swipe to the end for the reality of how we’re all feeling right now ➡️ I’ll be stepping back from social media for a few weeks to soak up family life and focus on nourishing this tiny human (microbiome included). But I’m sure I’ll share a few Broadcast messages with the behind-the-scenes reality. Enjoy the rest of your January, and I’ll catch up with you soon.
Ad | If you look after them… 🦠 They’ll look after you. Yes, it’s a bit cliché, but the science really does back it up. I caught up with Jasmin Dieb, @lifealivecafe’s Resident Dietitian, to digest the science behind the 30 Plant Challenge they’re hosting this January 👆 A landmark global study found that people eating 30+ different plant foods a week had a more diverse gut microbiome than those eating 10 or fewer. Think of plants as fertiliser. The more variety you eat, the better fed your 40 trillion gut microbes are, supporting a broader, more resilient ecosystem that works quietly in the background – linked to everything from metabolism to immunity and even mood. And here’s the reassuring bit: you don’t have to be perfect. Once you start adding variety, it gets easier (and far more delicious) than you might expect. And why stop at 30? We’ve got more research from our team coming on this soon. Small swaps. More colours. Little choices that add up. Your microbes will do the rest. #plantdiversity #guthealth #SuperSix #30plants #sciencebasednutrition

Don’t leave your microbes out of the celebrations... 🌰 If your family loves something sweet after dinner, especially at this time of year (mine definitely does!), here’s a simple way to switch things up. Instead of options that barely touch your fibre goals (and hello, dreaded sugar crash), try my 3-ingredient chocolate–chestnut bites. They’re ready in minutes and pack around 6g of fibre per serving. Here’s what you’ll need (serves 4): 👩🍳 180g cooked chestnuts 120g dark chocolate (I used 85% cocoa) 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil Toppings (optional) 20g chopped pistachios Freeze-dried raspberries Check the comments for the method 👇 #fibre #festiverecipes #gutfriendlyrecipes #foodinspo #recipe
