Which glass can you relate to most? 🎈 As a gut specialist dietitian and gut health scientist, I know how stressful burdensome bloating can be. But I also know that seeing a specialist isn’t accessible for most (don’t get me started on the 12-month NHS waiting lists for dietitians in the UK), which is what drove me to create a comprehensive on-demand Bloating Masterclass. And it’s available from today! Broken down into 18 digestible lessons that you can watch in your own time, at your own pace wherever you live in the world, this on-demand masterclass is designed to fit into your life. You’ll have access to over 20 additional resources, including expert videos, blogs and step-by-step protocols - essentially everything you need to develop and implement your own Debloat Action Plan to feel more confident, comfortable and in control of your bloating. Plus, you’ll have exclusive access to live monthly Q&As with one of the gut specialist dietitians from The Gut Health Clinic. Comment BLOATING MASTER, and I’ll DM you the link to find out more🎈 #theguthealthdoctor #guthealth #gutdoctor #gut #bloating #bloat

“Sorry, Coke Zero - I did really like you.” 👋 Dr Megan Rossi (@theguthealthdoctor) explains why new research has changed her view on artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose and even stevia - and how they can affect the gut microbiome. The World Health Organization (WHO) advises against using non-sugar sweeteners for weight control, citing evidence that they offer no long-term benefits for reducing body fat and may increase risks of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and mortality. The inspo you didn’t know you needed... You’ve probably heard me talk about the importance of plant diversity for the gut. It’s been linked to all areas of health, from longevity, to better mental health + more, and the science suggests that it’s not only essential to think about how many plants you eat, but where that diversity comes from (something our team at King’s is currently looking to validate). That’s where the Super Six comes in. Wholegrains, fruits, veggies, legumes, nuts and seeds, plus herbs and spices. Each group brings its own unique mix of nutrients, fibres and phytochemicals to feed the different microbes in your gut, which are connected to almost every system and function in the body. So here’s my challenge to you. Aim to get something from each of the Super Six every single day, and use this little game to give you some inspo for the week ahead ➡️ Let me know your Six 👇 and why not make it a family/ friend/ office challenge!
