The very first copy of my new book!!! 😭😭 It's so pretty, I can't believe I finally got to hold it – it felt like an out-of-body experience. I've been working on it for over two years and I'm so proud of how it's turned out – and I can't wait for it to be out in the world and in all of your kitchens!!! It's also HUGE 😂😂 It weighs a whopping 1.9kg or just over 4lb!! The original manuscript was about 165,000 words (for reference, that means it was longer than the 2nd and 3rd Lord of the Rings book, and only slightly shorter than the 1st one 😳) but we managed to cut it down to a more manageable length... eventually. And every single page is packed full of useful info, tips, recipes and mouthwatering photos. In fact, this book contains some of THE BEST recipes I've *ever* developed!!! Oh, and the table of contents LOOKS LIKE THE PERIODIC TABLE which makes me irrationally happy. 🤓😁 The Elements of Baking comes out this fall and all the preorder links are in my bio – and it's currently discounted with quite a few retailers! It’s honestly impossible for me to pick a single favourite – because the whole book is filled with my favourites! 🤤🤌 The second photo really shows what The Elements of Baking is all about: using the modification rules, you can go from a regular chocolate chip cookie recipe to a gluten-free, a dairy-free, an egg-free, a vegan or even a GF vegan one – and the cookies will always taste SPECTACULAR, no matter which ingredients you eliminate. The fluffiest, gooiest gluten-free cinnamon rolls 🤤🫶 I've developed quite a few different GF cinnamon roll recipes over the years, and these are *by far* the best ones, they're just sooo pillowy-soft and squishy and they taste DIVINE. Officially the best banana bread I've ever tasted 🤤 It's sooo soft, moist and tender, swirled through generously with cinnamon sugar, and it has a crispy, sugary crust that somehow makes it even better. The only gluten-free carrot cake recipe you'll ever need!! 🥕🧡 It's perfectly moist, soft and tender, super easy to make (it's basically a one-bowl recipe) and the cream cheese frosting is absolutely DIVINE. Soft, buttery vanilla cake with a gooey cinnamon-sugar filling and the most luscious cream cheese icing – this is absolutely DIVINE 🤤 And it satisfies all the cinnamon roll cravings with about 10 times less work, it's super quick and easy to make, you can whip it up in about 15-20 minutes and then just let it do its thing in the oven. This gluten-free orange pound cake is one of my favourite winter bakes – it's stuffed full of citrusy goodness (there's the zest of 3 whole oranges and ¾ cup of orange juice in the batter!!) and it's sooo easy to make 🍊🧡 And the flavour is absolutely INCREDIBLE. I still can't believe that this is gluten-free 🤯🤤 This is genuinely THE BEST gluten-free pizza dough: you can stretch it and shape it without tearing, it bakes up with a puffy, chewy crust and a thin base that's just crisp enough... it's INCREDIBLE 🍕🤌 And it's really easy to make – plus, while I bake mine in a regular home oven, I've been told that it works great in a pizza oven as well! Pillowy-soft brioche buns stuffed with a creamy vanilla cheesecake filling and a generous dollop of jam plus a crisp, buttery crumble topping – these are kinda dangerous, I nearly polished off the entire tray 😅🤤 They're a bit messy and rustic but honestly, that makes them even better. Flourless chocolate cake 🍫 You need just 6 ingredients and 45 minutes to whip it up – and it's SOOO GOOD!!! Its texture is somewhere between a chocolate truffle and fluffy chocolate mousse... and yes, it's *exactly* as amazing as it sounds.
