7 years ago I took everything I had and put it into starting a new little show called ON Purpose. The vision was simple: create the home for the most vulnerable, honest and authentic conversations with the world’s most influential people, where audiences could grow and heal. Every podcast company told me that people only wanted to listen to me for 4 mins (I mainly uploaded videos on YouTube and Facebook) but that no one would want to listen to me for an hour. I couldn’t book a single guest either. I made 100 personalized videos, emails and DMs and sent them to dream guests and none of them replied. A production company that said they would back the podcast pulled out 2 weeks before saying it would “not be a big a podcast.” What happened? YOU believed!!! Today something I could never have imagined was announced. 2 of the biggest platforms in the world @netflix & @spotify are partnering together to sign ON Purpose 🤯🤯🤯 This is all happening because of YOU! ON Purpose has always stayed true to its mission to serve you. Our team has worked tirelessly for years to get to this point and I’m so excited to share this news with you. I hope this story makes you believe in your dreams, bootstrap your ideas, not take no for an answer and build something to make a difference. That’s what me and the ON Purpose team are most proud of doing everyday, creating content that is meaningful, impactful and created to serve. Thank you for your support!
