Keep it simple. Make more money, so you can help more people, and have a lot more fun.
Most people react with anger when they’re actually feeling fear, and when you lead with fear, you build distance. When you lead with trust, you build safety. That safety might be the reason your kid makes the right choice next time.
My grandfather told me there’s three things you need to live a happier life, find someone you love, do something you love, and buy the best bed you can find.
You make money by surrounding yourself with the right people and the right ideas and asking how you can be of service.
Motivation is a feeling, consistency is a commitment. The reason I live by non negotiables is simple: when something matters, I don't leave it up to my mood. My health, my family, my faith, my business, my sleep, my gratitude. These are not things I try to fit in when I feel inspired, they are things I practice every day because they create the life I say I want. You don't need more motivation, you need to decide what is non negotiable, then keep that promise to yourself today.
I blamed my mom, my best friend, and my wife for telling me the truth. At the time, I thought they were disrespecting me, when what they were really doing was showing me who I had become. That morning I realized I didn’t hate them, I hated myself for knowing they were right.
A priority that can be moved is not really a priority yet, and that’s why I make time with my family non negotiable. Thirty minutes, two minutes, one minute, whatever the agreement is. The amount of time matters less than the decision that nothing else gets to take its place.
I don’t give my kids money, I give them structure. The family bank teaches responsibility, long-term thinking, and contribution. Everyone deposits. Everyone benefits.
Steve Jobs cared about how people felt when they used it, and that is why Apple became more than a product.
Discipline is powerful, but discipline without faith can quietly become a trap. I see people work all day and call it discipline, but they forget to make money, forget their family, forget their health, and forget why they started. They are consistent, but not connected. Real discipline should bring you closer to your potential, not farther from your peace. Faith reminds us to align our effort with what actually matters.
When you spend your life trying to prove who you are, you create distance from who you were meant to become. Purpose doesn't need outside approval. It shows up when your attention moves from being seen to being of service. That's where clarity begins. The more attached you are to validation, the easier it is to lose yourself. The more connected you are to value, the easier it is to find your way.
I thought I didn't believe in God...My mom taught me that I had just believed in the wrong God.
