People are strange: they are constantly angered by trivial things, but on a major matter like totally wasting their lives, they hardly seem to notice

I do believe rain fertilizes beauty in your mind, just as it does to nature, and aren’t we a part of nature? VC: nastikslv/ TT
I think people tend to forget they have free will and can drop what they’re doing, grab a bike, and adventure their way to a beach or nature reserve. Pack 7 hard boiled eggs, 7 oranges, a liter of spring water and get on the road! VCredit: carro_attrezzi/ TT
Barcelona’s tearing up its streets on purpose. It’s called “superblocks”: cut the cars, pull the asphalt, plant trees. Result — summer surface temps down ~5°C and streets people actually use. Less road, more life
Otters have this thing where, when they’re scared, they hold their baby up toward the threat. Not hiding it. Showing it The whole plan is basically “you wouldn’t.” And honestly I think a lot of us do the same sometimes.
There’s a bike path from the Arctic all the way to Portugal. It’s real. It’s called EuroVelo 1. It runs down the whole Atlantic edge of Europe. 🌍 It starts at North Cape in Norway — the very top of the continent. It ends in southern Portugal, near the sun and the sea. Over 10,000 km. Nine countries. Fjords, cliffs, coastlines, towns you’d never see from a plane. You’d need weeks. Maybe months. Most people never even hear about it. But it’s there. Waiting for anyone willing to go. What’s your journey ?
* Don’t rush it. Central Park isn’t something you see, it’s something you wander through. * Enter without a destination and let the park decide where you go. * Start early morning or during golden hour. The light changes everything. * Bring a coffee, leave the headphones off for at least part of the walk. * Sit on a bench longer than feels productive. * Watch the people. Central Park is one of the best places in the world to observe humanity. * Walk through the wooded trails and forget you’re in the middle of one of the largest cities on Earth. * Visit Bethesda Terrace, but don’t just take a photo and leave. * Find a patch of grass, lie down, and look up through the trees. * If you’re traveling, use the park as a reset button between the noise and the next adventure. * Some of the best moments happen when you stop trying to capture them. * Remember: the value of Central Park isn’t that it’s beautiful. It’s that it reminds you that even in the middle of chaos, nature still finds a way to exist!
Best time to go grocery shopping is in the mid-evenings

5 things to do in Chicago this summer that are completely free. Go on that roadtrip with a buddy or two, or three, and split a Airbnb. It’s not that hard to have a good time.
