A new documentary on French surfer @charlyquivront is up on his YouTube channel. This film’s release coincides with his 30th birthday and offers a close look at growing up in in a traveling surf family, and mostly his journey as a professional surfer—through competitions to free surfing. The 2026 @cisurfboards Rincon Classic presented by @merricklager was one for the books!  Head to our YouTube channel for a recap featuring standout moments from the @rinconbrewery Pro Invitational heats. The Classic is a yearly gathering built on tradition, history, and the people who have shaped surfing here for generations. From under-10 groms to Super Legends in their 80s, friends, families, and longtime spectators lined the rocks to watch some of the region’s finest surfers find their rhythm on Rincon Cove’s long walls. The contest nearly ran the weekend prior in marginal surf. Contest Director Chris Keet, with support from Britt Merrick, made the difficult call to wait when the forecast shifted. Patience paid off, delivering waves that will be talked about for years.
