Vinfast just launched their first 7 seater car in India, VF MPV 7. At 24.49 lakh, it comes with 60.13 kWh battery pack, Front Wheel drive setup with 201 hp and 280 nm torque. 7 spacious seats and AC even at last row. However, it misses out of lot of features that Vinfast is trying to compensate with longer warranty and free charging.

I recently requested an Audi Q3 for a week, and while they didn’t ask the exact purpose, I was certain why I needed it. To see if this is a good fit for a nuclear family to do a road trip to a place where they have not been before. What are the requirements for such trips? - Travelling with a kid means the rear seat should have ample room. - The car should not be too bouncy. - Should have good ground clearance so unexpected road blocks in the Himalayas and in general can be crossed without hurting the car. - Should be fun to drive on the ghat road (depends on driver, though sometimes decent handling gets the job done) - Should not drink like a supercar. - Should be comfortable for all the occupants. - Good Music system. Well, honestly, there are some non-luxury cars out there that can do it all. But the entire idea was to see if an entry-level luxury car can do it or not. So? Result? Check comments.
