Lately, the question I hear the most is “So… when are you getting married?” Living in Korea as a woman in my 30s, it feels like this question just naturally follows you. But honestly, I’ve never really been someone who dreamed of marriage or having kids. I genuinely enjoy my alone time, and I feel pretty content with the life I’m building right now. Of course, I have someone I love, and my relationship means a lot to me. But marriage isn’t something I feel I need to rush into. Right now, my priority is building my career, growing my business, and creating a life that I truly feel satisfied with. I think in Korea, there’s still this unspoken timeline of when things “should” happen. But the more I think about it, the more I realize we’re all just living on different timelines.
