“I’ve just received this very beautiful and meaningful award. It was a very emotional moment. Yeah, it’s definitely very special to receive recognition that way, so thank you to the Perfect World Foundation for the work that they’re doing, but also all the people making this night very, very special. It’s a great testament to see that the projects are touching people, are reaching people, and it’s great to get feedback like that. Thank you to everyone.” . . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin #theperfectworldfoundation
A visit to a local school, Göteborgs Högre Samskola in Sweden, where students are learning about biodiversity in a very hands-on way. From model insects and flowers to caring for their own chickens and bees, the children are actively engaging with nature and understanding its importance from an early age. Walking through the school and seeing their work on display showed how much thought and care goes into learning about the environment – and how important it is to inspire that awareness early on. The visit was a great reminder that education and curiosity are key to protecting what lies ahead. . . . . . #thereisstillaracetowin #sebastianvettel #theperfectworldfoundation
“The evening was really great, and I’m very thankful to have been part of it. Being in a room with people who are committed to making a difference is always motivating, and it gives you a sense that change is possible when we work together.” . . . . . #thereisstillaracetowin #sebastianvettel
Japan GP (16th Race): Not Classified (Suzuka International Racing Course) – “It’s just a pity in the two races with the reliability issues. But it’s like that sometimes and of course it hurts, and I’m disappointed, but now it’s important to get some rest and give my all for the last four races and see what happens.” . 📷 © Hasan Bratic / Getty Images / Red Bull Content Pool . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Malaysia GP (15th Race): 4th place (Sepang International Circuit) – “I think we’ve reached our limit today. Ideally, we’d have secured a podium finish. That’s perhaps the only slight blemish on our race. But we gave it a go. And in any case, it was all about damage limitation. ‘When you’re that close to the podium, you naturally start to hope that you might just make it. You always want more, that’s for sure. And I would have loved to have finished on the podium today.” . 📷 © Hasan Bratic . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Singapore GP (14th Race): Not Classified (Marina Bay Street Circuit) – „Every start is different and the way it happened you can look at it again and again, it is done. It was pretty unfortunate for all three of us, so we have to move on.” – Sebastian Vettel about his collision with Räikkönen and Verstappen at the start of the Race. . 📷 © Hasan Bratic . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Italy GP (13th Race): 3rd place (Autodromo Nazionale Monza) – “I think it’s been amazing, the power of the people, to see so many fans for Ferrari is unbelievable. Yeah it was a difficult day, a difficult start. I didn’t straightaway feel the car; I couldn’t go with Kimi and Valtteri, so I had to wait to make progress. Then my race was fairly isolated. We tried to keep as close as possible but we simply didn’t have the pace. I’m sure there are plenty of reasons, but I don’t want to get too technical. The last 20 laps I was struggling. I went off in Turn 1 and I think something broke in the car. The left-hand side of the steering was a bit down and I couldn’t trust the car, especially on braking and it’s a braking track. So the last laps I don’t think they showed the pace we could have gone. Overall you could say it was a bad day, but I know the team is on the right way and there is a lot of stuff that is going to improve.” . 📷 © Hasan Bratic . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Belgium GP (12th Race): 2nd place (Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps) – “Yeah, it was good fun. It was really intense, every lap I was waiting for Lewis to make a mistake, and he didn’t. He was probably waiting for me to make a mistake; I didn’t. But finally, Lewis won.” . 📷 © Hasan Bratic . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
What started during a Formula 1 weekend in 2023 moved off-track. Some of the insect hotels were brought to the Yamada Bee Farm in Okayama for research. Through research and observation, the insects nesting in the insect hotels are being studied. More than 20 species have been recorded, including species that are threatened with extinction. As some insects are becoming increasingly rare from year to year, initiatives such as the work of the people at Yamada Bee Farm which protect and promote insect habitats, are extremely important for preserving the ecosystem and biodiversity. Thanks to @greenpeacejp and @yamada.bee_official for making this happen! . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Hungary GP (11th Race): 1st place (Hungaroring) – “Everybody inside the team can be very happy and proud of what we have done today! Afterwards, I said to Kimi that I was sorry, because I was slow and struggling during the race. For Kimi it was not good to be there in the middle of a sandwich. It was a tough race that, in the end, kept a good shape. I developed a problem with the steering wheel and I don’t know why yet. We need to avoid it happening again of course, but during the race I didn’t have an option. It’s not like parking the car, check if everything’s all right and then fix the problem. It was quite annoying because it was a strange feeling. But then, at some point, I forgot about it and just tried to get used to it, which was tricky because it just kept changing and getting worse. However, in the end the pace was still there.” . 📷 © Hasan Bratic . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Great Britain GP (10th Race): 7th place (Silverstone Circuit) – “For sure there are lessons to learn, but overall, as I said there are positives after this weekend. We introduced the new power unit – no problems. We recovered in terms of car feel, handling from Friday to Saturday and the race pace was fine once we were in clean air but as I said after the start it was a bit tricky getting stuck behind Max – some nice fighting, but it lost us a bit of time. In the end I think with the puncture, as I said, there are maybe some things in the future we can learn. At that moment it is difficult to know it is going to happen. It hit us with both cars. Fortunately, we could get both cars to the finish line and still recover some points, so we have to keep working hard, and I’m sure we will have a better weekend in Hungary.” . 📷 © Getty Images / Red Bull Content Pool . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
Austria GP (9th Race): 2nd place (Red Bull Ring) – “At the beginning of the race I was just not quick enough. The pace was there, but the balance wasn’t. I like this place, which has a lot of history, and it’s the place where I drove a racing car for the first time, in 2003. It’s a long time ago, but I still have beautiful memories. And now I am already looking forward to going to Silverstone.” . 📷 © Hasan Bratic / Getty Images / Red Bull Content Pool . . . . . #sebastianvettel #thereisstillaracetowin
