‘Honouring the Families of Kargil Heroes’ On the occasion of #KargilVijayDiwas, Rajya Sainik Board, Rajasthan will organise 'Veerangana Samman' at 1500 hrs on 25 Jul 26 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, to honour the Veer Naris and Veer Matas of Rajasthan, whose loved ones made the supreme sacrifice during the #KargilWar. Demonstrating unwavering commitment towards humanitarian assistance and disaster response, Flood Relief Columns of #SaptaShaktiCommand conducted Joint Flood Relief Exercises & Mock Drillswith the Rajasthan #CivilDefence, Police and #SDRF. The Flood Relief Columns of #VyomastraADBrigade, along with Sappers of #STRIKE1, at Dholpur, and LaungewalaBde with Sappers of Sapta Shakti Command at Sawai Madhopur, conducted Joint Flood Relief Exercises in close coordination with SDRF and other state agencies, strengthening interoperability and ensuring preparedness for swift and effective disaster response. The drills included area reconnaissance, boat-based rescue operations, evacuation of stranded civilians, casualty evacuation, first aid and seamless inter-agency communication. The exercises validated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), strengthened interoperability among all stakeholders and enhanced operational readiness for a swift and effective response during flood emergencies.
