So grateful I was able to continue lifting weights throughout this pregnancy 🤍 I know every pregnancy journey is different, but staying active truly helped me so much during labour — especially pushing — and made recovery feel so much smoother. There were definitely LOTS of days I didn’t want to get up and move, but I was always so proud of myself after finishing a workout. It’s never too early or too late to start strength training. Easy High Protein Meals ✔️ I always get asked how I decide what and when to meal prep and honestly… it’s usually just whatever I’m craving that week 😝 I like to prep 2–3 things every few days so everything stays fresh and I don’t get stuck eating the exact same meals on repeat. Apple Nachos are the elite summer snack 🍎🤝🥜 35g of protein for the whole plate with @pbfit One of my favourite hacks is making a high protein peanut butter drizzle with PBfit powdered peanut butter + water. It’s SO good on everything — apples, yogurt bowls, chia pudding, oatmeal… you get the idea! And their Peanut Butter Crunch Protein Granola is a 10/10. The perfect crunchy topping or as a snack right out of the bag. Plus it has 15g of protein per serving! I get mine from Amazon! (USA only) RECIPE * 2 apples * 1/4 cup #PBfit Peanut Butter Crunch Protein Granola * 2 tbsp shredded coconut 🥜 Protein Peanut Butter Drizzle * 1/4 cup PBfit Powdered Peanut Butter * 2–3 tbsp water 🍫 Protein Chocolate Drizzle * 3 tbsp vegan chocolate protein powder * 1 tbsp cacao powder * 1 tbsp maple syrup * 5–6 tbsp water Slice your apples and spread onto a plate. Mix the powdered peanut butter and water until smooth and drizzleable. Whisk together the chocolate sauce ingredients, adding water as needed to thin. Everything I ate in a calorie deficit as a high-protein vegan mama of 2 with VERY little time 👶🏼✨🌱 I always get asked how many calories I eat, and honestly… I haven’t tracked calories in years. After tracking for a long time, I learned what portions and foods help me feel my best and support my goals without obsessing over numbers. Also keep in mind — I’m breastfeeding, chasing a toddler all day, and training hard, so my calorie needs are naturally much higher than someone else’s. Everyone’s body, lifestyle, and needs are different, which is why it’s so important not to compare your intake to anyone else online 🤍 And yes — I still keep supplements super simple.
