Proud to have a unique opportunity to interview Lewis Hamilton where I discuss with him about what motivates him, how does he prepare himself before a race and why he keeps pushing himself to perform better with every race! Lewis told me “Power is everything” and I can’t agree more! @shell_ontheroad @Shell_India_Official #ShellHelix #PowerUnleashed #UnleashThePowerInBarcelona
The Mercedes G-Wagon is one of the most iconic cars and has a cult following! The G-Wagon is available in 3 variants in India, this one is the Adventure Edition which has some accessories like a ladder, roof rack, etc. This G400d has the most powerful diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz which pumps out 330 BHP and 700 Nm! Which is your favourite G-Wagon? Mine is the 6x6!
I visited Pista di Fiorano (Ferrari’s private test track) in Italy and was completely blown away, little did I know that this very day would be the most memorable day of my life because what happened later in the day, really caught me by surprise and I still can’t get over meeting Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz!! This is what dreams are made of, I still get goosebumps thinking about this very day! Huge shootout to @shell_ontheroad for this amazing experience!
Jetour is a 7 year old brand which is owned by Chery and has been doing very well in Africa and the Middle East. The T2 which is a Defender copy, isn’t without its fair share of issues but the value proposition it offers is unbeatable! When launched in India, do you think it will sell like it does elsewhere?
Some cars are overpriced and under-equipped, and badly need a generation change - this SUV is one of them!
A Maruti 800 unlike any other, this one is a proper monster truck that can go places! The level of passion and dedication to develop this beast is unbelievable!
While design is subjective and some may or may not like the way the XUV 7XO looks, there is no doubt that mechanically it’s very sorted with an improved ride and good handling (the steering is too big and I want the old steering back, it’s still offered in the AX, AX3 and AX5 variants)! The triple screens aren’t a distraction as there is a privacy filter on the passenger screen and you can’t see it from the driver’s side! I drove the car in and around Jaisalmer, taking it to Longewala and then driving it to Jodhpur, where I chose to pilot a diesel manual because it’s the best powertrain - fab performance and terrific driving feel when shifting your own gears! The 300 km drive was super fun although the diesel manual is more than half a second slower than the diesel automatic in 0-100 km/hr due to the long throw gearbox and shorter gearing requiring more shifts to reach the ton! I timed 3 out of the 4 powertrains, here is how they performed in the 0-100 km/hr acceleration runs - P AT - 9.3 seconds D AT - 9.7 seconds D MT - 10.46 seconds All three cars comfortably breeze past 190 km/hr (had driven them at top whack at Mahindra’s high speed test track a few years back)!
The Mercedes-Maybach S680 V12 Night Series is the ultimate sedan because no car matches its rear seat expereince as it offers tremendous comfort, luxury and technology! Of course it’s very very very expensive but if you compare it to a Rolls-Royce Phantom, the ultimate S-Class is actually quite a bargain!
Mahindra has facelifted the 700 and renamed it to XUV7XO - more features, better tech and a lot of cosmetic changes - do you like it?
This is the most capable SUV I have driven, making off-roading effortless due to its massive torque and clever electronics!
#collab #curatedcontent It’s a very feature loaded car that has efficient engines and a lot of space because it’s grown bigger in size!
2025 comes to an end and it has been a year where I think I managed to keep my resolutions intact, haha, the first time that’s happened! Visited a few countries for the very first time (Australia you have my heart), drove a lot of cars (some of them I really liked while others I did almost hate), finished my Project car, met a couple of very cool people from the automobile world, won some awards, got a Golden Visa and drove a lot of G-Wagons (my absolute favourite SUV)! All set for 2026! Happy New Year everyone! Drive safe!
