The Mercedes G-Wagon is one of the most iconic cars and has a cult following! The G-Wagon is available in 3 variants in India, this one is the Adventure Edition which has some accessories like a ladder, roof rack, etc. This G400d has the most powerful diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz which pumps out 330 BHP and 700 Nm! Which is your favourite G-Wagon? Mine is the 6x6!

I visited Pista di Fiorano (Ferrari’s private test track) in Italy and was completely blown away, little did I know that this very day would be the most memorable day of my life because what happened later in the day, really caught me by surprise and I still can’t get over meeting Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz!! This is what dreams are made of, I still get goosebumps thinking about this very day! Huge shootout to @shell_ontheroad for this amazing experience!

The OG Sierra was a car with personality because unlike front-wheel drive monocoque high riding vehicles of today, the first-gen Sierra was a 3-door and used a ladder frame with power being channelled to the rear wheels! Did Tata Motors miss the opportunity to make a Thar rival?

The Mercedes SL is in its 7th generation and was first launched way back in 1954, making it one of the oldest Mercedes nameplates in continuous production! While the SL 55 AMG is priced at Rs. 3.1 crores, the Maybach SL 680 is the most expensive Mercedes (S Guard not considered) on sale in India, priced at Rs. 5.15 crores (all prices are on-road, Mumbai)! The price gap between the two SL models is huge and I believe the SL 63 would perfectly sit between the two because the SL 55 AMG produces 470 HP and 700 Nm of torque, taking 3.9 seconds to do the 0-100 km/hr sprint while the SL 63 AMG uses ePerformance tech to belt out a colossal 816 HP and 1420 Nm of torque, resulting in a 0-100 km/hr time of under 3 seconds!

Waiting for an Indian car to get this feature but is it even of any use?

Mahindra has just launched the XEV 9S which looks quite similar to the 700 and can be called as the electric version of it! However, the interior and underpinnings are that of the XEV 9e which makes this a sorted electric car with good performance and dynamics! The big highlight is that it has 7-seats but do you really need the last row?

Tata Motors has launched the Sierra and the entry-level variant’s price is quite attractive at Rs. 13.66 lakhs (OTR) but it gets no screens! Loaded to the brim, the Sierra looks good and has huge potential but other than the name, has absolutely nothing in common with the original! With the Curvv having failed, the Sierra which sits right above it, has a lot riding on it and I am sure it will deliver the sales expected from it! However copying the Bronco ad frame by frame ain’t cool, the same brand has given us original iconic ads like “I always wanted to”!

Is Ferrari still the most desirable sports car brand in the world? Definitely! The Italian company is super quick in bringing in new models and never rests on its laurels! However, I am not too sure about their latest design language!
