The Mercedes G-Wagon is one of the most iconic cars and has a cult following! The G-Wagon is available in 3 variants in India, this one is the Adventure Edition which has some accessories like a ladder, roof rack, etc. This G400d has the most powerful diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz which pumps out 330 BHP and 700 Nm! Which is your favourite G-Wagon? Mine is the 6x6!

I visited Pista di Fiorano (Ferrari’s private test track) in Italy and was completely blown away, little did I know that this very day would be the most memorable day of my life because what happened later in the day, really caught me by surprise and I still can’t get over meeting Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz!! BMW has discontinued the Z4 and its replacement is the M440i convertible which is essentially an M340i but with 2 less doors and an opening roof (takes 18 seconds and works up to speeds of 50 km/hr)! The BMW M440i convertible is identical to the M340i but slightly slower due to the added weight of the roof opening mechanism! While the M340i is assembled in India, the M440i is a CBU and will cost 50% more than the M340i, open top motoring doesn’t come cheap!

The BMW F 450 GS is quite a likeable adventure motorcycle - it’s fast, fun and very comfortable but due to high taxation on 350cc+ engine capacity motorcycles, the GS Trophy variant at Rs. 6.25 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai), is expensive!

Many cars have onboard games but in a Tesla, you can use the steering as a joystick - great for kids, not so much for the driver!

I attended the BMW Drift Academy and had loads of fun drifting the BMW M2, here I am doing a figure of 8! Besides learning car control, sustained oversteer and drifting, I also got a chance to shred tyres! M cars are unparalleled with the M2 and M4 being the cars that you get to drive at this event, there are M5s too which the instructors use for demo laps, thankfully we don’t get to drive the heaviest 5-Series ever built! Yeah, I am not a big fan of the new M5 but at least BMW gave us an M5 while Mercedes discontinued the E63 AMG completely!

The BMW M4 is one of the few cars which could see a massive price slash thanks to the India-EU FTA, I am expecting this car to cost the same as an M2, don’t know how BMW will position 2 amazing M cars at a similar price point!
