On 05 Jun 26, #WorldEnvironmentDay, Indian Coast Guard reaffirmed its commitment to marine and terrestrial conservation through impactful initiatives in #Mumbai and #Goa. Onboard #PollutionControlVessel ICGS Samudra Prahari at #Mumbai, a Capacity Building Workshop was conducted in collaboration with The Habitats Trust on “Conservation of Critical Marine Habitats” to strengthen strategic frameworks for marine ecology and biodiversity. Concurrently, District HQ Goa spearheaded a tree plantation drive. Service personnel, families, and civilians planted 550 saplings across office complexes, residential areas, and CGKG School, fostering a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
