You do not want to pass-over this one! The crunch takes this date bark to the NEXT LEVEL I’m telling you! This is the ultimate sharing dessert to add to your table, but you might need to make it over and over again as there’s no way this is lasting 8 days! Save it, send it to a friend you’d like to make it for you and follow @mrshollingsworths for the best in easy healthier treats! Here’s how 👩🍳 🔹 2 matzahs (or other crackers) 🔹15 medjool dates 🔹 1/2 cup nut butter or tahini 🔹 150g chocolate Optional: chopped hazelnuts to decorate ▪️ place the matzot on a lined baking tray, then place the dates on top and use a glass to flatten them out. ▪️ spoon nut butter on top of the date layer and spread out ▪️ melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave stirring every 30 seconds then spread this on top. Had to put my 2 ingredient spin on this one, and I couldn’t believe how just easy, delicious and fun this one was! Packed with goodness and great for your skin, but also just so tasty too 🥰 IB : roho_nutrition Let’s go.. Here’s how 👩🍳 🔹1 sweet potato 🔹2/3 cup chocolate (I used @rawhalo buttons) ▫️roast your sweet potato until soft (about 1 hour at 200C), then carefully slice open while hot ▫️add in the chocolate, then squeeze potato around the chocolate and leave for 5 minutes ▫️mash the now melted chocolate and the sweet potato flesh together and mix well ▫️bake at 200C for 15-20 minutes, then cool ▫️drizzle on any extra chocolate and chill in the fridge until set, then enjoy! Easter/passover/spring gifting SORTED ✅ All you need is some chocolate, some chocolate beans and that’s it! It’s so simple, but looks so pretty. Here’s how 👩🍳 🔹 200g dark or milk chocolate Optional: 50g white chocolate, to swirl 🔹 a few handfuls of coloured chocolates, I love @doisyanddam, @mummymeegz @unreal.snacks, but you can even use fresh or dried fruit ▪️melt the chocolate in the microwave stirring at 30 second intervals or in a double boiler, then spread it out on a lined baking sheet into a rectangle ▪️ if using white chocolate, melt this then drizzle it up and down on top, and use a skewer to create a feather pattern ▪️arrange the sweets in flower shapes, then place in the fridge to set. Never not smashing my potatoes like this again. SO perfectly crispy, so easy to make! Boil, smash in the waffle maker, salt, done. Here’s how 👩🍳 🔹600 g Charlotte potatoes (about 10–12 small potatoes) 🔹1–2 tbsp olive oil 🔹pinch of sea salt ▪️Boil the potatoes whole in salted water for 15–20 minutes, until fork-soft. ▪️Drain and leave to steam dry for 5 minutes. ▪️Preheat waffle maker and brush plates with 1 tbsp olive oil. ▪️Place potatoes on waffle plates (space them out), close lid and press to smash. ▪️Cook 5–8 minutes until golden and crispy. ▪️Lift out, sprinkle with flaky salt, and devour. No moulds needed thanks to this little hack! Easter eggs made in avocado shells, filled with 2 ingredient mousse? Yes please! Here’s how 👩🍳 🔹1 ripe avocado 🔹 150g dark chocolate ▫️Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor. ▫️Melt the Chocolate in a double boiler or in a microwave-safe bowl. If using the microwave, heat in 10-second increments, stirring between each interval until smooth. ▫️Spoon a large spoonful into each avocado shell, and spread evenly, then chill until set and repeat this step once more. Once set, careful peel off the shells. ▫️blend the remaining chocolate with the avocado flesh until smooth, then spoon this into the chocolate eggs and enjoy! Let’s go 🏃♀️ AD PS get your @naturescharm products online at www.naturescharmmarket.com 🩷 🔹2 cups self raising flour (I used GF) 🔹1 1/4 cups dates 🔹1/3 cup maple syrup 🔹1/3 cup @naturescharm coconut whipping cream 🔹2 cups grated carrot Spices: 1 tbsp cinnamon, 1/2 tbsp ginger, 1/2 tsp nutmeg For the frosting 🔹2/3 cup coconut whipping cream 🔹4 tbsp maple syrup Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract, for flavour ▪️soak dates in 150ml boiling water for 10 minutes then mash until smooth ▪️add all cake ingredients to a bowl and mix well ▪️bake in a lined 8” square tin at 180C for 25-30 minutes then leave to cool ▪️mix frosting ingredients and spread on top evenly ▪️store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze Love, Mrs H xx #vegantreats #plantbased #glutenfree #cleaneating #healthybaking
Handbag ESSENTIAL! 💼 if you want the most portable dessert going and you love Snickers anything like I do, and you want to keep on the healthier side then this is for you! I love how you can just store this so easily in the freezer and take it with you to friends/work/on holiday, the world is your oyster and I SWEAR the dates taste better when they’re smashed! Here’s how 👩🍳 🔹10 medjool dates 🔹 1/3 cup peanut butter 🔹 1/2 cup chocolate ( @rawhalo) ▪️ pit the dates and place them in a ziplock bag, flattening them down with a glass ▪️ spoon peanut butter on top of the dates then lock bag and use your hands to even it out over the dates ▪️ melt chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan with two inches of water in on a low heat stirring gently until melted. Spoon the chocolate on top of the peanut butter layer, repeat evening it out (lock bag first!) then lock again, chill until set, break into pieces (sprinkle a little sea salt if it serves you) and enjoy! ▪️ store in the fridge or freezer, I love it from frozen! One of the BEST things you can make with just 5 easy to find pantry ingredients. Trust me, you do not need to buy overpriced shop bought treats that are full of ultra processed ingredients - make this BROOKIE slab instead, it’s perfection 🤌🏼 Go try it for yourself, it’s so easy and SO good. Here’s how 👩🍳 Base 🔹1 cup ground almonds 🔹1/3 cup peanut butter 🔹1/4 cup maple syrup 🔹2 tbsp cacao powder 🔹1/4 cup chocolate chips Topping 🔹 1 cup chocolate chips 🔹 2 tbsp peanut butter ▪️mix the first three ingredients in a bowl, then divide into two ▪️mix the cacao powder into one half of the mixture and fold the chocolate chips into the other half, then roll into balls ▪️place balls randomly in a lined loaf tin or mould and flatten down with a spoon ▪️melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave stirring every 30 seconds then stir in the peanut butter and pour over the base ▪️chill in the fridge until set (around 30 mins) then cut into slices and enjoy! Not only are these DELICIOUS (my kids love them too), they’re also doing wonders for your hair, skin and nails too, as well as your joints, gut and more! You can make them with any juice, and omit the strawberry powder if you like, I just loved the flavour it gives! Here’s how 🧑🍳 🔹 1/2 cup apple juice 🔹 2 tbsp agar agar or gelatine powder* 🔹 2 tbsp freeze dried strawberry powder 🔹 1 tbsp maple syrup, to taste ▪️add the powder and juice to a saucepan, leave to bloom for 5 minutes, then add the other ingredients. Bring to the boil then reduce the heat, stir and cook for 5 minutes ▪️remove from the heat then pour into a dish. ▪️ refrigerate until set and chilled (around 10 mins) then cut into slices enjoy!
