These DIY natural lip balm are the perfect way to take care of your lips especially with the colder season in full swing. They also make a great gift for the fast approaching Christmas holidays. INGREDIENTS: -100 x g lemon balm/mint -100 x ml olive oil -beeswax (ratio 1:3 after double boiling olive oil and herbs) -10 x drops vitamin e-oil INSTRUCTIONS 🥣💄 - Blend or chop the herbs with oil. - Add them to a heat-resistant jar and double boil for 2 hours, ensuring it’s simmering, not boiling. - After that, strain it using muslin and let the liquid rest for a minimum of 4 hours (we let it sit overnight) so the oil separates from the water. - Once ready, slowly pour it into another jar, being careful not to include the water. - Grate some beeswax in a 1:3 ratio to the liquid. - Double boil until the wax melts. - Let it cool for a few minutes and add the essential oil. - Mix well and transfer to your chosen container. - We don’t use essential oils in this recipe, but if you’d like a stronger aroma, you can add a few drops of peppermint essential oil. 🎬 @a.spoon.of.jasmin #lipbalm #lipcare #diy #natural #homemade

Passion cravings 💃 INGREDIENTS • 240g (1 cup) fresh passion fruit pulp (≈12 fruits) • 50–100g sugar (adjust to taste) • 160ml non-dairy milk (soy, oat, or almond) • 30g cornstarch • 60g vegan butter (cold, cubed) METHOD 1. Scoop out the passion fruit pulp and blitz for ~30 seconds to separate juice from seeds. 2. Strain through a sieve (save some seeds if you like texture). 3. Add juice + sugar to a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer, whisking. 4. In a bowl, whisk non-dairy milk + cornstarch into a smooth slurry. 5. Pour slurry into the saucepan and cook on medium heat, whisking constantly for 3–5 minutes until thick and glossy. 6. Remove from heat once it coats the back of a spoon. 7. Strain into a bowl over the cold vegan butter and whisk until silky smooth. 8. Cover surface + chill for at least 1 hour (it thickens beautifully). TO SERVE (next level) Top with vegan whipped cream, a dusting of powdered sugar, and a cheeky splash of homemade vanilla vodka 🍸✨ STORAGE Keeps 1 week in the fridge (if it lasts that long). You can also freeze it. #passionfruit #dessert #healthyrecipes #passionfruitdessert
Zero waste isn’t about perfection. It’s about respect, for what you grow, and what you have. We don’t waste food because we need more, we waste it because we’ve forgotten its value. #lemon #zerowaste #lowwaste #lowwasteliving
